In order to link your PC to some Samsung and HONOR devices & Android, get Phone link. Following are the system configuration required to use aka.ms/addpc across your devices-

  • For PC, OS required is Windows 10 May 2019 or later Update.
  • For Android version of 7.0 or above is required.
  • Get Link to Windows app for Android, Samsung and HONOR devices.
  • The devices should be paired via bluetooth. It allows to make or take calls easily.
  • Connect both devices to common Wifi network. Also, place them nearby.

How to access Phone on PC?

You can link both the devices Android & Windows on your PC using aka.ms/addpc quickly. This will make your work faster, easier and better. We have mentioned 2 ways, you can go with any one of them-

Using Windows PC

  1. On Task bar, Type & Search “Phone Link”. Then, Select it.
  2. Here, appears a box, select “Android”.
  3. Nextly, sign-in your microsoft account.
  4. To open Link to Windows app on Android, head on to “aka.ms/addpc ”via web browser.
  5. Then, Sign-in into the app.
  6. Back to PC, check the box stating “I have the Link to Windows app installed on my phone”.
  7. Select “Pair with QR code”, then QR code appears on screen.
  8. Choose “Link your phone and PC” on Android device.
  9. Then, Press “Continue” as “Is the QR code on your PC ready?” appears.
  10. Thereafter, use android’s camera scan QR Code now.
  11. Lastly, grant all those permissions it asks.

Using Android Phone

  1. Head on to web browser, type “aka.ms/addpc”. Then download “Link to Windows” app on your Android Phone.
  2. Open the ”Link to Windows” app as it installed.
  3. Using your Microsoft credentials sign-in the app.
  4. Thereafter, search “www.aka.ms/linkphoneqr” on PC. This will present you a QR code.
  5. Now, scan QR code with Link to Windows app’s camera.
  6. Eventually, allow all the permissions to activate the features you require.

How can I find update for Phone link?

Refer the given instructions for both devices to get an update for a newer version and sync them with ease-

On Android device

  1. Go to Link to Windows app, select ‘Settings’ here.
  2. Then, select Check for updates.
  3. If you find any update then, reopen it after closing it.

On Windows PC

  1. First of all, open Microsoft Store.
  2. Here, on search bar type Microsoft Phone Link.
  3. If any update is available you get Update button. Click it.
  4. As it get updated, choose ‘Open’.
